€ 100 (or 430 PLN)
Standard by September 1, 2026
€ 120 (or 520 PLN)
There are only 20 places available!
Fee includes participation in the workshop, training materials and certificate of attendance
Learning outcomes
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand core GM concepts (landmarks, shape vs. size, Procrustes alignment)
Perform GPA, PCA, and Procrustes ANOVA in R
Analyse allometry, missing data, symmetry, and modularity
Visualise shape changes via warped meshes and deformation grids
Apply trajectory analysis and phylogenetic comparative methods
Build a reproducible GM workflow from landmark collection to publication‑ready figures
Target audience and prerequisites
This workshop is designed for:
graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and faculty members,
researchers working in evolutionary biology, anthropology, paleontology, zoology, ecology and related fields,
participants interested in applying geometric morphometrics to their own research,
beginners in geometric morphometrics with basic knowledge of R, as well as researchers seeking to update their analytical skills.
While practice datasets will be available, participants are encouraged to bring their own datasets (2D or 3D landmarks, semilandmarks) for discussion and practical exercises
Remember to bring your own laptop!
