The Department of Political Science of Gazole Mahavidyalaya started its journey since the inception of the college in the year 2006. The Department offers both Honours and Programme courses. The Honours course was introduced in the academic session 2017-2018. The number of seats in the honours course is 40. At present, one Assistant Professor and two State Aided College Teachers have been enriching the Department with their sincerity, brilliance, and sympathetic attitude toward the students.

Students of Political Science are given in-depth knowledge about Political Theory, Political Thought, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Public Administration, Indian Political Thought, Indian Government and Politics, etc. They are encouraged to ask questions and debate on various social and political issues. Apart from the academic activities the department also organizes various programmes and encourages students to participate in many activities like quiz competitions, youth parliament competitions, etc to build up their morale and boost their confidence.
