This Privacy Policy describes how Google Maps Leads Finder (the "Extension"), operated by ExtensionsFox ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you install and use the Extension.

1. Summary
Google Maps Leads Finder helps you view publicly available business details from Google Maps and, with a Pro subscription, enrich leads with email and social profile information when available. Reading place details from Google Maps runs in your browser. We do not sell your personal information. We only collect limited account, usage, configuration, and (when you use Pro enrichment) business identifiers needed to operate the Extension and related services.
2. Information we process
2.1 Information stored on your device
The Extension uses Chrome local storage on your computer to save settings and session-related data, which may include:
- Account identifier (UID / token) used to recognize your account
- Subscription status cache (for example Pro / Free)
- Cached panel configuration (for example website and promo settings)
- Temporary UI preferences
This data stays on your device unless you clear the Extension storage or uninstall the Extension.
2.2 Information processed in your browser on Google Maps
When you click Leads on a Google Maps listing or place page, the Extension may read publicly available place information already shown or loaded by Google Maps in your browser (such as name, address, phone, website, ratings, hours, and place identifiers) to display in the Extension panel. This processing happens locally in your browser for that session.
The Extension may also request a Plus Code from plus.codes using the place’s latitude and longitude, from the Google Maps page context.
2.3 Information sent to our servers
When you use account, billing, configuration, or Pro enrichment features, the Extension may send requests to our API (https://api.extensionsfox.com), including:
- Account identifier (UID)
- Product / app identifier
- For purchase restore: order ID and email you provide
- For panel configuration: product app ID (to fetch remote settings)
- For Pro email/social enrichment: business fields needed for enrichment (such as place identifiers, phone number, and/or website URL for the place you choose to enrich)
- Lead usage counts associated with enrichment (for abuse prevention and service operation)
Payment checkout is processed by third-party payment providers (such as Paddle). We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
2.4 Information we do not intentionally collect
We do not intentionally collect:
- Your Google account credentials
- Browsing history outside Google Maps pages where the Extension runs
- Precise device location for advertising
- Contact lists unrelated to the Extension’s features
Lead details shown in the panel are processed in your browser for display and copying. Unless you use Pro enrichment (which sends selected business fields to our enrichment service), we do not upload your full lead lists to our servers as part of normal free use.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide and maintain the Extension
- Authenticate accounts and restore purchases
- Enforce free and paid usage limits and prevent abuse
- Provide Pro enrichment results
- Deliver remote panel configuration
- Provide customer support
- Improve reliability and fix bugs
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Permissions
The Extension may request browser permissions such as storage and host access to our API, and it injects a content script on Google Maps pages. These permissions are used only to run the Extension’s features (show the Leads panel on Google Maps, save preferences, open related pages, and call our API).
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with:
- Payment processors (to complete purchases and manage subscriptions)
- Infrastructure / hosting providers that operate our API and enrichment pipeline
- Authorities when required by law
Service providers are used only to operate the Extension and related services.
6. Data retention
- Local Extension data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the Extension.
- Server-side account, subscription, and usage records are kept as long as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting requirements.
- Enrichment requests are processed to return results and are not used to build advertising profiles.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information transmitted to and stored by our services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children’s privacy
The Extension is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your choices
You may:
- Stop using the Extension and uninstall it at any time
- Clear Extension storage through your browser
- Contact us to ask questions about account or billing data associated with your UID / purchase email
- Manage or cancel a paid subscription through the billing links provided in the Extension or by your payment provider
10. Third-party services and Google Maps
The Extension interacts with Google Maps and other third-party websites and services (including enrichment and Plus Code providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. The Extension is not affiliated with Google.
11. International users
Our services may be hosted or operated in countries different from your own. By using the Extension, you understand that information may be processed in those locations as needed to provide the service.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Extension after an update means you accept the revised policy.
