Glowza is an AI-powered virtual try-on app that lets users upload or capture a selfie to receive hairstyle previews, personal hairstyle recommendations, before-and-after comparisons, and barber-ready style guidance.
By using Glowza, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide and improve the app’s core features.
1.1 Photos and Selfies
When you choose to use Glowza’s AI hairstyle features, you may upload or capture a selfie.
We use your photo to:
- analyze visible facial proportions for hairstyle recommendations;
- generate AI hairstyle previews;
- show before-and-after comparisons;
- create hairstyle result screens and salon/barber cards;
- allow you to save or share results if you choose to do so.
We do not use your photos to identify you personally outside the app experience.
1.2 Generated Images
Glowza may create AI-generated hairstyle preview images based on your uploaded selfie and selected hairstyle preferences.
Generated images may be stored so you can view, save, compare, or recover your results.
1.3 Account and Authentication Data
Glowza may use anonymous or app-generated authentication through Firebase to operate securely, prevent abuse, manage purchases, and associate generated results with your app session.
We do not require you to create a public profile.
1.4 Purchase Information
If you make an in-app purchase, payment is processed by Google Play.
We may receive purchase-related information from Google Play, such as:
- product ID;
- purchase token;
- purchase status;
- transaction verification result.
We use this information only to verify purchases, unlock paid features, prevent duplicate charges, and provide customer support.
We do not collect or store your full credit card number or payment card details.

We may collect limited technical information needed for app functionality, diagnostics, security, and fraud prevention, such as:

AI-generated results may vary depending on photo quality, lighting, angle, hairstyle selection, and other factors.
Glowza is intended for entertainment, inspiration, and personal style exploration. It does not provide medical, biometric, or professional identity analysis.
4. Data Sharing
We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate the app, including:
- cloud hosting and backend service providers;
- AI image generation providers;
- Firebase and Google services;
- Google Play Billing;
- analytics, diagnostics, and crash reporting tools if enabled;
- customer support tools if needed.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, security reasons, fraud prevention, or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your photos, generated images, or personal information.
5. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Data is transmitted using secure connections such as HTTPS.
Photos and generated images may be stored in secure cloud storage linked to your app session or user ID.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect user data using appropriate safeguards.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the app’s features, support purchases, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and improve app reliability.
Photos and generated images may be retained so you can access your results or recover them after a purchase.

You can choose not to upload or capture a selfie. However, AI hairstyle preview features require a photo to work.
You may be able to delete your generated results or request deletion of your app data by contacting us.
You can also manage app permissions through your device settings.
8. Camera and Photo Access
Glowza may request camera access so you can take a selfie.
Glowza may also allow you to select an image from your device using the Android photo picker or system image picker.
We only access photos that you choose to provide. We do not scan your photo library.
9. In-App Purchases
Glowza offers paid features through Google Play Billing.
All payments are handled by Google Play according to Google’s payment terms and policies.
If a purchase is completed, Glowza verifies it through Google Play and unlocks the related feature.
If verification fails, you may use purchase recovery features or contact support.
10. Children’s Privacy
Glowza is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use digital services without parental consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through Glowza, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. International Users
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own.
By using Glowza, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where our service providers operate.
