This privacy policy applies to the Glowr app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by GlowLab Apps (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Photo and Facial Analysis Information
What face data does the app collect?
The Application uses your device camera to capture photos for aesthetic facial analysis. The photos you take are analyzed locally on your device to evaluate facial features such as symmetry, proportions, and other aesthetic characteristics.
How is face data used?
Photos are processed entirely on your device using artificial intelligence algorithms to provide you with an aesthetic evaluation. The analysis focuses on visual characteristics for beauty assessment purposes only. We DO NOT collect, extract, or store biometric facial data, facial recognition templates, or any personally identifiable biometric information.
Is face data shared with third parties?
NO. All photo processing and analysis happens locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third parties. We do not transmit your photos or facial analysis data to any external services.
Where is face data stored?
Analysis results (scores, recommendations) are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. The original photos are only temporarily kept in your device's local storage during the analysis session and are automatically deleted after processing. You maintain full control over your data.
How long is face data retained?
Original photos are processed and deleted immediately after analysis. Analysis results (numeric scores and text recommendations) are retained on your device until you manually delete them through the app’s history feature or delete your account. You can delete individual analysis results at any time or delete your entire account to remove all data.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application stores analysis results locally on your device. This includes facial analysis scores, recommendations, and basic user preferences. No personal information, account data, or photos are collected or stored on external servers. Registration is not required to use the Application.
Does the Application collect precise real-time location information of the device?
This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
NO. Your photos and facial analysis results are processed and stored entirely on your device. We do not share, sell, or transmit any of your data to third parties. All processing happens locally without any network transmission of your personal data.
The Application may use third-party services for non-personal features such as payment processing (RevenueCat for subscription management) and advertisements (Google AdMob). These services do not have access to your photos or facial analysis data.
Account Deletion and Data Rights
How to Delete Your Account:
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Profile screen. Navigate to:
Profile > Account section > “Delete Account”.
This will immediately and permanently remove all your analysis history, preferences, and any locally stored data from your device.
What happens when you delete your account:
All facial analysis results are permanently deleted
Your user preferences and settings are removed
Your analysis history is completely erased
This action cannot be undone
Premium subscription status is managed separately through Apple/Google billing
You can also stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.
Children
The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider also encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without permission.
If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider at glowrapp@gmail.com so that necessary actions can be taken.
You must be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to consent on your behalf).
Security
We are committed to safeguarding your information. All photo processing and analysis occurs locally on your device, which means your photos never leave your device and are not transmitted over the internet. Analysis results stored locally on your device are protected by your device’s built-in security measures. Since we do not store your data on external servers, there is minimal risk of unauthorized remote access to your facial analysis data.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new version. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any updates, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2025-01-15 (Updated).
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, now and as amended by the Service Provider.
