Byrån För Glömda Saker
A Child Culture Design Group led by Betty Wallingford (Byråministern)
The Byrån för Glömda Saker is working with Lilla Änggården
How do we use imagination to understand the past?
How could heritage sites better reflect children's voices, interests and perspectives?
This winter and spring, the Byrå has held workshops in the area surrounding Lilla Änggården – finding new stories and characters connected to the site. Later in the spring, we built our research station together in the forest - a place that supports children in finding and investigating forgotten things even after the project ends.
Outcomes
Support children's own narrative agency within cultural heritage.
Open cultural heritage spaces up to new perspectives, even non-human ones.
Infrastructure that nurtures and sustains the imagination over time.
What do we do?
We explore, design, dig, build, invent tools, travel through time, talk to trees, and tell stories.
