Meet The Artist!

Hello, I am the artist behind Gloe Goblin FX and my name is Loe Campbell and i am based in Glasgow. my specialties are in Special Effects Makeup, (SFX) Character Creation, Monsters, Sculpting, Moulding and Casting among other disciplines. I Explore within this discipline as I have always had a fascination with the macabre, morbid, weird and wonderful and I love exploring all different avenues to Express my Creativity. my current Certificates include Fashion makeup, Face Painting, SFX and beauty therapies such as Facials, Nails, Eye Treatments etc, I am also currently furthering my studies into SFX techniques and learning new skills to further my experience and career within the industry. Some recent work that I have participated in is the Charity Event Strictly Come Beatson and The Pantomime of Cinderella by Theatre School Scotland and Looking forward to Future Collaborative Events.  My newest project is on infections in which I will be exploring trauma and effects that infections on the body I will be depicting via sculpting, moulding, applying and colouring for a photoshoot, I will be looking at other upcoming opertunites and collabs as a way of expanding my portfolio and experience soon.

These are some of my favourite personal looks that are all hand painted including the rose tattoo on my forehead in the Halloween photo, i find expression of colour fun and whimsical make up is multifaceted and can have many purposes such internal and external it can tell a story or a feeling and can have multiple interpretations that can mean many different things, these are my favourite looks as the exploration of colours allows a feeling of freedom, empathy and quirk and also shows my love for character creation, replication and recreation. i am hoping to add to this small slideshow very soon with many other creations that i a,m looking forward to creating and exploring.
