Global ESD in Madagascar

Our educational design concept was originally developed in Madagascar through a collaboration between Global ESD coordinators and the University of Toliara between 2012 and 2016. Today we continue our collaboration, now with Dr. Josia Razafindramanana at the University of Antanannarivo, collaboratively developing curriculum and school outreach projects based on the evolutionary, behavioral, and sustainability sciences.

Our initiatives include the support of Master's student thesis work in the Anthropology and Sustainability program, focused on school outreach in teaching and learning about evolutionary anthropology and the behavioral ecology of sustainable resource use.

Help us expand our efforts!

Your donation to our Madagascar program goes directly to support young academic researchers (Master's or PhD) focused on using the Global ESD design concept as a tool for educational research and development linking evolutionary, behavioral, and sustainability sciences.
