• Local Storage: All preferences (such as your selected currency) and cached exchange rates are stored exclusively in your browser's internal database (Chrome Local Storage).

• No Tracking: We do not monitor your navigation, we do not use cookies for tracking, and we do not record which websites you visit.

2. Third-Party Services and APIs

To provide accurate financial data, the extension communicates with an external API:

• Exchange Rate Data: The extension fetches live rates from AwesomeAPI (https://economia.awesomeapi.com.br). This is a one-way request to receive financial data. No user data, identifiers, or IP logs are sent to or stored by this service for tracking purposes.

• No Analytics: We do not use third-party tracking services, telemetry, or usage reports. Your interactions with the extension remain private to your device.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data processing occurs and remains locally on your computer (Client-side).

• Caching: Exchange rates are cached for 20 minutes to optimize performance and reduce network calls.

• Data Control: If you uninstall the extension, all stored configurations and cached data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from your browser.

4. Data Sharing and Sale

In strict compliance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy:

• We do not sell your data to third parties.

• We do not use your data for targeted advertising, profile tracking, or any form of monetization.

• We do not transfer any data to be used outside the core functionality of the currency converter.
