To provide real-time voice communication features, our App may collect or access the following information:
Audio Data & Microphone Access: Our App requires access to your device's Microphone to capture audio when you press to talk. Voice data is processed solely for real-time transmission to other users in your active channel/room and is not used for advertising or profiling.
Device & Technical Information: We may collect limited system information such as device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and network connections (Wi-Fi/cellular status) to ensure stable real-time audio transmission and perform bug fixes.
Account Information (if applicable): If you register an account, we may store basic details like your username, avatar, or email address to identify you in voice rooms.
Location Data: To provide location-based features (e.g., finding nearby channels or displaying user distances), our App may request access to your precise or approximate location (GPS, Wi-Fi, or cellular network). If background location is granted, this data may be accessed even when the app is in the background to maintain location-based alerts. We do not sell your location data to third parties.
We use the collected information strictly for:
Enabling real-time "push-to-talk" (PTT) voice streaming.
Maintaining background audio connectivity during active channels (when applicable).
Improving audio connection latency and app stability.
Preventing security threats and abusive behavior within channels.
To function as a Walkie-Talkie app, we require the following sensitive permissions:
RECORD_AUDIO (Microphone): Required to record your voice during communication.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE (Foreground Service): Required to keep the audio stream active when the app is running in the background, allowing you to hear or speak on the channel while using other apps or with the screen off.
INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to transmit audio data over the network.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Required to determine your physical location to enable location-specific features.
ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION : Required to provide location-based services continuously even when the app is minimized or the screen is locked.
No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or audio transmissions to any third parties.
Audio Processing: Voice audio is transmitted in real time and is not permanently stored on our servers after transmission, unless required by applicable law or explicit user request (e.g., voice message history).
Third-Party Services: We may use reputable third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., real-time audio SDKs or Cloud Hosting) solely to route audio traffic and maintain connectivity.
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the relevant legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
