During their afternoon visit to the Fr. Peyton Centre, the Byars family (from Glasgow, Scotland) expressed a deep emotional connection to Fr. Peyton’s story, especially Mrs. Byars, who shared how meaningful it was to return to her hometown of Kiltimagh and introduce her children to the legacy of a man whose message had been a part of her own upbringing.
While no formal testimonies or reported miracles were shared during the visit, the family reflected on the powerful impact of family prayer in their own lives and were visibly moved after watching the documentary on Fr. Peyton’s life and mission. Mrs. Byars remarked that she felt a renewed sense of peace and inspiration to continue praying together as a family — a quiet but sincere witness to the spiritual influence of Fr. Peyton’s message.
The visit served as a gentle reminder of how Fr. Peyton’s call to prayer continues to touch hearts and strengthen families in small but meaningful ways.
-Groff Family Visit to the Father Peyton Centre, Ireland, July 11, 2025
Since that pivotal moment, you have facilitated my reconciliation with my husband, and we have committed to praying the Holy Rosary together with our children. The constant arguments that once plagued our home have diminished significantly. The transformative effects of our efforts are clear: our child, who had to leave school due to financial hardships, is now back in class and filled with joy. We wholeheartedly believe that “A family that prays together, stays together,” and our experience reaffirms this truth.

I was standing at the edge of despair, contemplating suicide, when I discovered your program. Through your guidance, I found renewed hope and the courage to embrace life again. I have since embarked on income-generating activities that have given me purpose. Father Peyton's inspiring story was the beacon that pulled me back from the darkness.

This year, I was elected as the President of Garo I village. Through the parish office letter, I was invited to attend the community leaders' workshop. I feel blessed to have participated in the workshop. It was well arranged and organized. Different resource persons highlighted various church and Mondoli-related topics. I am a church and community builder, and I am recognized among many in the village. I need to remain faithful to the church and the Mondoli. The PowerPoint presentation given by the presenter on the role of village leaders and the church, and how to conduct Sunday service in the absence of the priest, was very insightful. We were also told how to build the village community. We learned about the life of Fr. Patrick Peyton and how he led the Rosary crusade in different parts of the world. We were told that a family that prays together stays together. Those two days were very valuable. I learned a lot. I am pretty confident in helping the village faithful with matters of faith and in developing the village (Mondoli). I pledged to pray the Rosary every day. Fr. Lancy explained properly the effect of family and the Rosary.
-2-day Workshop for Village Leaders, July 26, 2025
Life has not been easy for me and my family, but God has remained faithful. Recently, we went for two days without meals, and though it was very hard, I trusted in God and kept praying the Rosary and also prayed through the intercession of Fr. Patrick Peyton. I was afraid to ask for help, not wanting to be a burden, but on the third day, one of my brothers unexpectedly sent me Ksh. 2000 without me asking. I was so moved by God’s providence. I have also been praying for another brother who struggles with alcoholism, and I thank God that he has started becoming more responsible and has reduced his drinking. Though he has not completely overcome it, I believe with prayer he will gradually be set free."
