During our recent programs at Family Rosary Chile, our activities demonstrated how prayer transcends borders and offers hope to a spiritually troubled Chile. This was evident in three programs: “Juntos en la Misión,” “Encuentro de Laicos,” and “Mes de María.”
In the first two programs, the gathering of lay collaborators and Holy Cross religious revealed the strength of a praying family in mission. Participants shared the challenges, opportunities, and joys of serving with the Congregation of Holy Cross and Family Rosary. The display of flags representing the countries where the Congregation of Holy Cross and Holy Cross Family Ministries are present affirmed that, despite diverse contexts, prayer unites us and strengthens our shared commitment to mission. These encounters also deepened relationships among participants and reinforced the belief that the family that prays together stays together.
During the third program, one participant testified to the profound power of prayer. She shared that after years of unsuccessful attempts to conceive, her son and daughter-in-law were blessed with a child following her devoted recitation of the Holy Rosary. Her testimony, along with others, illustrated how prayer crosses all boundaries—spiritual, emotional, and even scientific—to bring genuine hope.
