1. Introduction
Glam Vision (“we”, “our”, “app”) offers curated wallpapers and short-form videos. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app. By installing or using Glam Vision, you consent to the practices described below.
2. Data We Collect
Device & Usage Data: Non-identifiable information such as device model, OS version, crash logs, and in-app interaction metrics. Used to improve stability and UX.
Cached Media: When you download or favorite content, the files are stored on your device only. We do not copy, upload, or inspect your personal media.
Optional User Inputs: If you contact us via email or in-app feedback forms, we receive the information you provide (e.g., email address, message content). This is used solely to respond to you.
We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) unless you voluntarily provide it. We do not run background tracking, analytics SDKs, or third-party advertising networks.
3. Third-Party Content Sources
Glam Vision retrieves media from the following APIs:
Pixabay API – https://pixabay.com/api/
Used to search and retrieve royalty-free images/videos. Requests include required API keys and query parameters only; no user PII is sent. Content is displayed, cached locally, and may be downloaded by users as permitted under Pixabay’s terms.
Pexels API – https://api.pexels.com/
Used to fetch curated photos and videos. Requests include the official API key and search/filter parameters. We do not share user-identifiable data with Pexels. Assets are displayed in-app and can be saved locally for personal use, consistent with Pexels’ license.
Both APIs enforce their own privacy policies and rate limits. Glam Vision is responsible for complying with their attribution and usage guidelines but is not responsible for data handling practices on their servers.
4. Local Storage & Cache
Downloads, favorites, generated videos, and cached previews are stored on your device’s internal storage.
You may clear cache or delete files at any time via the in-app settings or your device’s storage manager.
We do not transmit or back up your local media to our servers.
5. Permissions
Storage (Photos/Media/Files): Required to save wallpapers and videos, manage downloads, and export generated content.
Network Access: Required to fetch new media, metadata, and API responses from Pixabay and Pexels.
Permissions are requested only when needed, and you can revoke them through your device settings. Some features may stop working without the required permission.
6. Data Security
Because Glam Vision does not maintain its own backend servers and operates purely on-device plus third-party APIs, your personal data stays on your device unless you choose to share it (e.g., emailing us). We employ HTTPS for all API calls to protect data in transit.
7. Children’s Privacy
Glam Vision is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, contact abdemourdi@gmail.com to request deletion.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Access & Deletion: You control the files stored locally in Glam Vision. Clearing cache or uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
Contact: Email abdemourdi@gmail.com for questions, complaints, or inquiries about this policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product or legal changes. Updates will be posted within the app or on the store listing, and the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of Glam Vision after changes constitutes acceptance.
If you need this hosted online (e.g., GitHub Pages or a website), copy the text into your hosting solution so you can link it within your Google Play listing. Let me know if you need localized versions or additional clauses.
