I am Gyanendra Kumar Verma, a national postdoctoral fellow (NPDF) in the Department of ECE at IISc. Bangalore under the mentorship of Prof. Navin Kashyap. My research interests lie in coding theory, algebra, finite fields, and their applications. Additionally, I am keen to explore quantum codes and cryptography using codes. 

 Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the UAE University, under the mentorship of Prof. Kanat Abdukhalikov, from October 2024 to December 2025. Also, I was an early-doc fellow in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Delhi from July 2024 to October 2024. I completed my Ph.D. in algebraic coding theory from the Department of Mathematics at IIT Delhi in July 2024 under the supervision of  Prof. R. K. Sharma.
