Postdoctoral fellow in computational neuroscience

I study how behavior and computations arise through the network interactions of recurrently coupled neurons. I am currently working as a postdoc at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Genova, investigating how functional and anatomical connectivity shape neural dynamics and computations in cortical areas using circuit models. I work in close collaboration with experimental labs using diverse approaches (e.g. functional imaging, electron microscopy, all-optical approaches) to constrain network models of cortical function using population neural data.

I obtained my PhD at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, where I developed models of transient coding in recurrent networks and tested them on auditory cortical data.
