I am interested in how complex behaviors emerge from the collective interactions between neurons. I explore how these interactions shape dynamics and computations by combining network models with analysis of experimental data.

I closely collaborate with experimentalists who use a range of approaches, from connectomics to functional imaging and optogenetic perturbations. These collaborations provide opportunities to test and refine models of brain function using neural and behavioral data.
