Hi, I am an economist with a Ph.D. from the Economics Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in Industrial Organization, Empirical Microeconomics, and Banking.
I will join the Financial Stability and Macroprudential Policy Department at Banco de España as a Research Economist in September 2026.
During the summer of 2026, I am collaborating with the DeCenter initiative at Princeton University on research related to decentralized markets.
My research lies at the intersection of industrial organization and finance. I study how market structure and regulation shape competition in the banking industry. In my job market paper, I analyze how banks set deposit interest rates based on deposit insurance status and how this segmentation affects the transmission of monetary policy.
