Hello, everyone! My name is Dejana Backo. I was born in 1994 without upper limbs. I have been painting with my feet since I was six years old. I became a member of the World Association of Artists Painting with Mouth and Foot - called VDMFK.
I graduated from an art high school and earned my degree from the academy. I particularly enjoy painting animals, but I also create commissioned paintings based on requests.
The prices of my works depend mostly on the dimensions. I work with acrylic paints, and these are the prices:
40x30cm: €700
45x40cm: €800
70x50cm: €1100
100x70cm: €1600
187x125cm: €2600
Additionally, for one painting (depending on dimensions), it takes me a minimum of 5, 7 (sometimes 10-20) full days to complete. Therefore, a minimum of 50% of the artwork's price should be deposited before I start painting 🎨

"The Serbian foot painter Dejana Backo presented Novak Djokovic, the current number 1 in tennis, with a portrait painted by the artist herself on 8 March 2021.
The world number one received the portrait with great joy on the occasion of a small celebration of winning the Australian Open and breaking the record on the ATP list. The handover took place in Belgrade in front of his restaurant “Novak”.
The picture also shows a butterfly, as one landed on Novak Djokovic’s shoulder during a match at the Australian Open."
