The Silver Award is the highest honor a Cadette Girl Scout can receive. To earn the Silver Award, a Girl Scout must complete a Take Action project to help their community and spend 50 hours of their time doing so. As of recently, we, Girl Scout Cadettes of troop 80263 and part of the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ, GSCSNJ, have completed our very own Girl Scout Silver Award. We painted an inspiring mural at our middle school and hosted a Painting Workshop for Brownie Girl Scouts of the Edison, Metuchen, Highland Park Service Units.
