Giovanni Italiano

About me

I am a Royal Society Newton International Fellow at Oxford University.

Formerly, I was a PhD Student in Mathematics at Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) in Pisa (Italy), supervised by Prof. Bruno Martelli.

My main research interests are hyperbolic geometry and geometric group theory, but I'm happy to learn about low-dimensional topology and knots too.
My recent work is mainly about hyperbolic manifolds fibring over the circle, and related notions.
