Giovanni Covi
Senior lecturer at University of Jyväskylä
Department of Mathematics and Statistics, office MaD332
I am also a visiting researcher at University of Helsinki
email: giovanni.g.covi@jyu.fi (the old email giovanni.covi@helsinki.fi may still work for a while)
My work is in Inverse problems for PDEs, particularly the fractional Calderòn problem. More in general, I have been studying problems involving nonlocality and unique continuation. Lately I have also studied geometric inverse problems on manifolds and graphs and quantum computing for inverse problems.
I am the Chair of IPYA (Inverse Problems Young Academy).
I am the organizer of the Inverse problems seminar of the University of Jyväskylä.
I am a member of FIPS (Finnish Inverse Problems Society) and of IPIA (Inverse Problems International Association). I am also an Humboldtian.
