Hello, I am Gio Paik (백지오), research engineer in Theta One AI.
I am interested in Multimodal Understanding and Human-Centric AI Evaluation. I do research and development for Audio Language Models for Language Education at Theta One AI. Prior to Theta One, I contributed to the development of NAVER Cloud's HyperCLOVA X Vision as a research intern and served as a software specialist sergeant in the Republic of Korea Air Force.
I obtained my B.Eng. in Sejong University in 2025, where I was fortunate to meet my mentor, Prof. Yukyung Choi, and that sparked my journey as an engineer.
