Hello, I am Gio Paik (백지오), CEO of Kitsch Labs, ML Engineer in Theta One AI and Community Lead of ROKAF ISMG Alumni.
I am interested in Multimodal AI and AI as entertainment. In Kitsch Labs, I am making AI lovable with high-quality speech AI and language models. I also do research and development for Speech Language Models at Theta One AI. Prior to Theta One, I contributed to the development of NAVER Cloud's Foundational Vision Language Model (HyperCLOVA X) as a research intern and served as a software specialist sergeant in the Republic of Korea Air Force.
I obtained my B.Eng. in Sejong University in 2025, where I was fortunate to meet my mentor, Prof. Yukyung Choi, and that sparked my journey as an engineer.
