About me

I am a Gibbs Assistant Professor at Yale university.

Prior to that,  I was a postdoctoral researcher in A. Munk's group in Göttingen (2021-2025) adn I obtained my PhD at UCLouvain in 2021 working under the supervision of C. Heuchenne and J. Segers.

Research interests

• Optimal transport theory : statistical and machine learning applications

• Dependence measures and copula theory

• Gaussian processes and (super) concentration of measure

• Statistical problems from the field of Biophysical imaging 

• Manifold learning and diffusions

Recognition 

In December 2022, I had the honor of being the laureate of the Annual Contest of the Royal Academy  of Science, Letters and Fine Arts of Belgium for some work done with J. Segers pertaining to statistical decision theory and transport of measure (More information ).
