Download Files (step 1)

Double left click forge installer (if that doesn't work, then follow instructions on the 'if forge doesn't work' doc on the google drive)

Putting mods into game (step 2)

You need to drag and drop scripts and mods folders into .minecraft

If you don't know where .minecraft is...follow these instructions depending on computer

Windows

Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.

Type %appdata%\.minecraft and press Enter.

Mac

Open Finder and press Shift + Cmd + G (or use Spotlight with Cmd + Space).

Type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.

If you don't see the Library folder, press Cmd + Shift + . to show hidden files.

Linux

Open your terminal.

Type cd ~/.minecraft and press Enter to go directly to the folder.

Getting Online (step 3)

Using Minecraft Launcher

-Start minecraft

-Select minecraft java edition in the left side'

-Left of the play button there should be a drop down

-Select forge 1.16.5

-Click multiplayer

-Click the R to the right of the black bar to randomly select a password

-Click add server

-Put in our IP
