Zabrax

File Name: Zabrax

Birthplace: Zamarazia

Current Assignment: Lunartix Scout

Zabrax has roamed the galaxy since he was a youngling. Raised in the ways of the warrior beasts of his elder Zamarazians, Zabrax was deemed worthy. Like his ancestors, Zabrax bummed from planet to planet, taking what he needed and wanted without regard to those around him. While those before him hunted the uncharted wilds, Zabrax was attracted to the cities and began stalking the alleys of civilization. He continued to take what he wanted and living by the rule of the Zamarazians, "To the deserving go the rewards." It was this rule that found him hunted by the city guard and he stowed away on the next available transport.

When he was found on board The Empire, the Lunartix surrounded him and threatened to eject him into space. Fortunately, Lobotomaxx stepped in with his peaceful demeanor to save Zabrax from his deserved fate. Spaceshot agreed to keep him on board but he would be released on his own at the next docking station. In the meantime, Zabrax swore his life to Lobotomaxx, a custom of his ancestors. Those who save your life now own your life. At the next station, Lobotomaxx informed the captain of his new underling. Now due to the odd traditions of these alien creatures, The Lunartix now had a new member aboard The Empire.

Construction Notes

The orange-yellow barbarian alien creature from Chap Mei was always a favorite design of mine. So as this project went deeper I decided to give it some articulation. I tried to keep the basic look of the original figure. Modded the torso to fit a joe waist and arms. The bulky upper right arm from V. Max gave me the size I wanted with the lower arms. The waist got lots of random bits thrown on it with a green stuff belt. The BTR legs were glued together so I figured no harm in sculpting over the thighs with Apoxie Sculpt to give more girth. Again I kept the original Chap Mei feet. Repainted it all sticking close to the original color scheme. And no pre-paint pic this time. Throw together a quick bio and I call this one done.
