Giiirl AI is an app for reflection and self-discovery developed by Along AI LLC-FZ (UAE Free Zone).

2. What data we process

2.1 Data you provide

• Onboarding: name, age, description of your emotional situation (scale ratings, selected emotions, answers to introductory questions).

• Journal entries: text and voice entries you create in the app. Voice entries are converted to text on your device and are not stored as audio files.

• Responses to questions: your feedback on insights (“helpful” / “not relevant”).

2.2 Data collected automatically

• Purchase analytics (Adapty): information about the creation and status of your subscription, device type, iOS version, device identifier. Your identity is not determined in this process.

• Apple technical data: standard App Store Connect data (crashes, usage statistics) processed by Apple in accordance with its own privacy policy.

3. How we use data

We process your data to provide the core functionality of the app and generate AI insights, based on the contract concluded between you and us when you accept the Terms of Use. Subscription data is used to manage your access to paid features. Anonymized usage statistics may be used to improve the product.

4. Data storage

All your journal entries, onboarding data, and insights are stored exclusively on your device in an encrypted local database. We do not have access to this data and do not store it on our servers.

Deleting the app from your device fully and irreversibly deletes all your data. We cannot restore it upon your request, as we have never had access to it.

5. Data sharing with third parties

5.1 OpenAI

To generate insights, tags, and personalized questions, your journal entries and onboarding data are transmitted to OpenAI, L.L.C. (USA). The transfer is carried out in encrypted form via HTTPS directly from your device. OpenAI does not use data sent via the API to train models by default. We recommend reviewing OpenAI’s privacy policy on their official website.

5.2 Adapty

Subscription data is processed by Adapty Tech Inc. to manage payment operations. Adapty does not receive personal data such as your name or the content of your entries.

5.3 Apple

Subscription payments are processed through the App Store. Apple processes payment data independently in accordance with its privacy policy.

5.4 We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent, or disclose your data to advertising networks or data brokers.

6. International data transfer

The app is developed by a company registered in the UAE. Data is transferred to OpenAI in the USA. We take reasonable measures to ensure data protection during cross-border transfers.

7. Children

The app is not specifically intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 13 years of age. If you become aware that a child has provided data through our app, contact us at: services@along.pw

8. Your rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can at any time view all your data directly in the app, delete individual entries or all data at once, and also completely delete all data by removing the app from your device.

9. Security

Data on your device is protected by iOS encryption mechanisms. Data transfer to OpenAI is carried out only via an encrypted HTTPS channel.

10. Changes to this Policy

In the event of material changes, we will notify you via an app update or a push notification. Continued use of the app after the update constitutes acceptance of the new version of the Policy.
