This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application Gigiyenist Kundaligi (“the App”) developed by MediaAILearn (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The main purpose of the App is to provide educational content and tests for hygienists and medical students. We collect only the minimum amount of data needed for the App to function.
1.1 Data stored in Firebase Firestore
The App is connected to Google Firebase Firestore. Through Firestore we may store:
Your quiz and test results (correct/incorrect answers, scores, time spent);
Your in-app preferences (language, interface settings, saved sections, bookmarks, etc.);
A randomly generated identifier or device-related identifier used only to distinguish one user’s progress from another’s.
We do not intentionally store the following in Firestore:
Your full name;
Email address;
Phone number;
Passwords or login credentials;
Payment or bank card details.
If you manually type personal information into a free-text field inside the App (for example, into a note), it may technically be stored in Firestore as part of that note, but we do not require or request such information.
1.2 Automatically collected information
Some aggregated technical data (such as installs, crashes, and performance statistics) may be processed by:
Google Play and
Firebase (if crash reporting or analytics are enabled).
This data is generally used in aggregated form to improve stability and performance and is not used by us to identify you personally.
We use the information described above only for the following purposes:
To save and display your learning progress, test results and settings;
To maintain and improve the functionality, stability and performance of the App;
To fix bugs and improve the quality of educational content.
We do not sell your data or use it for interest-based advertising.
The App includes a “Community Chat” (or similar) button which opens our community group in Telegram.
When you tap this button, you are redirected to the Telegram app or Telegram web.
Any information collected while you use Telegram is handled only by Telegram according to their own Privacy Policy.
We do not receive your Telegram password, messages, contact list or other personal information from Telegram.
We are not responsible for how Telegram or other third-party services handle your data. Please review the privacy policy of Telegram separately.
We may share data only in the following limited way:
With service providers such as Google Firebase and Google Play, which host our backend and provide infrastructure services. These providers process data on our behalf and according to their own privacy policies.
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers or other third parties for marketing purposes.
We keep Firestore data for as long as it is reasonably necessary to:
provide you with access to your learning progress and
maintain the App.
If we decide to stop supporting the App or delete certain data, we will remove it from Firestore within a reasonable period.
We use Google Firebase infrastructure, which includes technical and organizational measures to protect stored data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is intended for students and professionals and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information if it is within our control.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes become effective when they are posted on this page.
