This bag has a stabilizing fabric on the bottom to maintain more stability. The straps are also stabilized. A polyester batting is used to give some bulk to the bag (this is part of what future bags will be changed, to use a stabilizer with more stability to make the bag less "floppy). There are 2 outside pockets on either side, and one on either end for a total of 6 outside pockets. There is a zipper closure. Inside are three pockets on either side for a total of 6 pockets inside. In addition, on either end, there are two elastic spots for bottles! The bag measures about 17.5"x7.5" at the bottom, stands about 11.5" tall, Measures about 21 inches across the top. From the top of the bag to the peak of the straps is about 10 inches, plenty of room for carrying this bag, even with a winter coat!

In addition to being a diaper bag, this bag could easily be used as an overnight bag.
