GigFolio Expense Tracker

GigFolio Expense Tracker helps users record gig-work expenses, attach receipt photos, create exports, and back up their records.

Information Stored by the App

The app may store the following information on your device:

Expense amounts

Expense dates

Expense categories

Merchant or place names

Notes entered by you

Receipt photos attached by you

Backup files or exported report files created by you

Local Storage

GigFolio Expense Tracker stores your expense records locally on your device. Your records are not automatically sent to our servers.

Receipt Photos

The app asks for camera and photo access so you can attach receipt images to expense records. Receipt photos remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, or back them up.

Backups and Exports

The app allows you to create backup files, CSV files, and text reports. These files are created only when you choose to create them.

If you save or share these files through Google Drive, iCloud Drive, email, WhatsApp, or another third-party service, that service may process the file according to its own privacy policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your expense records or receipt photos with third parties unless you choose to export, share, or back up those records using services outside the app.

Tax and Legal Disclaimer

GigFolio Expense Tracker is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for confirming your records and tax treatment with a qualified professional or the relevant tax authority.

Children's Privacy

GigFolio Expense Tracker is intended for users who need to record work or business expenses. It is not directed to children.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual expense records in the app. You can also remove app data by deleting the app or clearing app storage on your device.

Backup files or exported files saved outside the app must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the effective date above.
