1. Introduction and Who We Are
GigaCloud Farm is an independently developed Android application available on the Google Play Store. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data. By installing or using GigaFarm Cloud, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application and do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us When you create an account, you provide us with your full name, your email address, and a password. Your name is displayed within the app on your profile. Your email address is used for account authentication, password recovery, and to communicate with you about your account when necessary. Your password is never stored in plain text — it is securely encrypted and managed entirely by Firebase Authentication, and we have no access to it.
Information Generated by Your Use of the App
When you use GigaFarm Cloud, certain information is generated automatically. A unique User ID is assigned to your account by Firebase to link your game data across sessions and devices. We record the date and time your account was created and the last time you signed in, which are used for account management purposes. Your simulated in-game wallet balance, simulated transaction history, and simulated mining status are stored in our cloud database so that your game progress is saved and synced. None of this simulated financial data has any real-world value. We also store a push notification token assigned to your device by Firebase Cloud Messaging. This token is used solely to deliver in-app notifications such as mining alerts and app updates, and you can disable notifications at any time from your device settings or from within the app. Certain app preferences — such as whether dark mode is enabled, whether notifications are turned on, and whether you have completed onboarding — are stored locally on your device only and are never sent to our servers.
In-App Purchase Information
When you choose to purchase a simulated premium plan, the payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or any other payment details — those remain exclusively with Google. From Google, we only receive a purchase token, the subscription status (active or expired), and the product identifier of what was purchased. This information is used solely to verify and activate your simulated premium features within the game.
Information Collected by Third-Party Services
Our app integrates third-party analytics and advertising services that may automatically collect certain technical information. This includes device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID, your device model and operating system version, your IP address and approximate geographic location at the country or city level, information about how you interact with the app such as which screens you visit and how long you use the app, crash reports and diagnostic data, and information about how you interact with advertisements shown in the app. The collection and use of this information by third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies, which are listed in Section 4 of this policy.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes. We use your name, email address, and User ID to create and manage your account and to verify your identity. We use your simulated game data — including your wallet balance, transaction history, and mining status — to operate the game and sync your progress across sessions. We use your push notification token to send you mining alerts and app updates, which you can opt out of at any time. We use your in-app purchase information to verify and activate simulated premium features you have paid for. We use technical and usage data collected through third-party services to understand how the app is used, identify and fix bugs and crashes, and improve performance. We use device and advertising identifiers to serve advertisements within the app, based on the consent preference you provide. We use your email address and User ID to respond to account deletion requests and other data-related requests you submit to us.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond what is described in this Privacy Policy.

GigaFarm Cloud integrates the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. App Permissions
GigaFarm Cloud requests the following device permissions.
The INTERNET permission is required to connect to Firebase for authentication, game data synchronisation, and to load advertisements.
The ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission is used to check your network connection status before attempting to sync game data, helping avoid errors on slow or unavailable connections.
The POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission is used to send you mining alerts and app update notifications on devices running Android 13 and above. You may deny this permission when prompted or revoke it at any time from your device settings.
The RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED permission allows the app to restore scheduled notifications after your device restarts, so you do not miss important alerts.
The FOREGROUND_SERVICE permission is used to maintain the visibility of the simulated mining session while the app is open and in the foreground. No mining or intensive processing of any kind runs in the background on your device.
We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage files, or any other sensitive device resource.

6. Data Retention
Your account and game data stored in Firebase Firestore is retained for as long as your account remains active. Upon a confirmed account deletion request, this data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Your Firebase Authentication record is deleted immediately upon account deletion. Analytics and crash data processed by Firebase may be retained for up to 14 months. Data processed by AppMetrica may be retained for up to 18 months in accordance with their own data retention policy. Push notification tokens are retained until you uninstall the app or disable notifications and automatically expire when inactive. Data stored locally on your device, such as app preferences, is removed when you uninstall the app or clear the app's data from your device settings. In-app purchase transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years in an anonymised or aggregated form to comply with legal and tax obligations.

7. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS and TLS protocols. Passwords are never stored in plain text and are handled entirely by Firebase Authentication's secure cryptographic systems. Firebase Firestore security rules ensure that each user can only access their own data and cannot view or modify data belonging to other users. We do not store payment card information at any point. While we implement strong security measures, no system of electronic data storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to correct inaccurate information, such as updating your display name, through the in-app profile settings. You have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data, as described in our Data Deletion Policy. You have the right to withdraw your consent for personalised advertisements at any time by accessing the consent settings from within the app. You have the right to opt out of all data collection immediately by uninstalling the application.

GigaFarm Cloud is intended for users aged 13 and older. In the European Economic Area, the minimum age is 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies. Our legal basis for processing your personal data is the performance of the service you have contracted with us, your consent where we have requested it, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving a safe and functional application. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. Before personalised advertisements are shown, a consent screen powered by Google's User Messaging Platform will ask for your permission, and you may change your preference at any time from the app settings. For any international transfer of your data, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses entered into by Google and Yandex as the relevant data processors.
