Gig Research Assistant for Fiverr processes data inside your browser to help you analyze Fiverr search-result pages.
## What the extension accesses
- Fiverr search-page content that is already open in your browser
- ChatGPT pages when you choose ChatGPT-powered actions
- Your saved extension settings, including optional OpenAI model names, API key, and optional external sync settings
- Files you explicitly export or download
## What data is stored
The extension stores settings and working data locally in Chrome storage, including:
- saved keyword and page-analysis state
- optional OpenAI API key
- UI preferences
- generated research snapshots and AI job state
- optional external sync configuration and sync history if you configure that feature for your own use
## How data is used
Data is used only to provide the extension's features:
- analyze Fiverr search results
- compare gigs and extract research signals
- export HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON snapshots
- send prompts to ChatGPT or the OpenAI API only when you choose an AI action
- optionally send selected Fiverr search-result metrics to a user-configured external endpoint only if you configure that feature yourself
## Data sharing
The extension does not run its own proprietary remote backend and does not sell your data.
When you explicitly use AI features:
- ChatGPT-driven actions interact with `chatgpt.com`
- API-driven actions send your chosen prompt data to `api.openai.com`
When you explicitly generate or download thumbnail media based on Fiverr results, the extension may request image files from Fiverr's media CDN in order to process the visible thumbnails you selected.
If you separately configure an external sync workflow for your own use, the extension may send search-result summary data to the external web app or endpoint URL that you provided.
## User control
You control:
- whether to save an OpenAI API key
- whether to run ChatGPT or OpenAI-powered actions
- whether to configure and use optional external syncing
- whether to export files
- whether to remove the extension and its local data
## Contact
Support and policy updates can be provided through your published extension support website, Chrome Web Store support page, or a public support document that you control.
