I am an assistant professor of strategic management at San Diego State University’s Fowler College of Business. I obtained my Ph.D. in Business Administration (Strategy and International Business) from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business and a Master’s in Finance from Peking University’s HSBC Business School.
My research lies at the intersection of geopolitical tensions and firms’ global strategy, with a second research stream examining the role of geography and industry agglomeration in shaping corporate strategy. I have published in Research Policy and presented my work at leading conferences, including the Academy of Management (AOM), the Strategic Management Society (SMS), and the Academy of International Business (AIB). I am a recipient of the Will Mitchell SRF Dissertation Scholar Award and the Best Ph.D. Paper Award at SMS.
Prior to embarking on my academic journey, I have professional experience in investor relations and financial engineering.
