Gianluca Paolini's Webpage

I am an associate professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Torino. 

My research lies at the intersection of model theory, descriptive set theory, group theory and module theory, with a focus on classification problems.

Varia:

• I am giving an online talk at the IASM-BIRS workshop "Descriptive Set Theory, Borel Dynamics and Borel Combinatorics" (Hangzhou, China) on 26.10.26, speaking about my work joint with I. Herzog and S. Shelah on Kaplansky decompositions of Polish modules.

• I am co-organizing (with A. Nies, K. Tent and T. Tsankov) the workshop "Non-archimedean groups" to be held at the CIRM (Luminy, France) on 17-21.05.27.
