intrammo a ritornar nel chiaro mondo;
e sanza cura aver d’alcun riposo,
salimmo sù, el primo e io secondo,
tanto ch’i’ vidi de le cose belle
che porta ’l ciel, per un pertugio tondo.
E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle.
[D. Alighieri. Inferno, Canto XXXIV vv. 133-139]
I earned my degree in Mathematics from the University of Milan in February 2021. In November of the same year, I began a double PhD program in Mathematics (University of Bologna) and Neuroscience (University of Lausanne), under the joint direction of Prof. Nicola Arcozzi and Prof. Micah M. Murray. During the first year of my PhD in Bologna, I initiated a collaboration with Prof. Elena Cordero and prof. Luigi G. Rodino (University of Turin), the first joined as a co-director during the final stages of my PhD.
I obtained the PhD in neuroscience on February 2025 and the PhD in mathematics on March 2025.
Since November 2024, I have been working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Università della Svizzera Italiana, in Lugano, under the direction of Prof. Michael Multerer.
Research expertise. Time-frequency analysis, metaplectic operators, symplectic group, wave front sets, uncertainty principles, harmonic analysis, reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces, signal analysis, Gabor frames, (quasi-)algebras of operators.
