About me:

My name is Giacomo Masiero and I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at KU Leuven. I work under the supervision of Prof. Fatemeh Mohammadi and Dr. Oliver Clarke .

My research is currently focused on the study of algebraic and geometric properties of matroids. I am also interested in incidence geometry and its applications to matroid varieties.

I do capoeira, I like swimming, I am a beginner sewer, and yellow is my favorite color.
