I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at IRES in UCLouvain, starting in September 2026. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from University College Dublin, where I was supervised by Ron Davies and Dieter Kogler and funded by the Irish Research Council.
My research lies at the intersection of the economics and geography of innovation. I use applied microeconomic methods to study how innovation shapes firms, regions, and labour markets, with a particular focus on place-based innovation policies and the spatial dynamics of technological change.
Before joining UCLouvain, I worked as an External Expert at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Seville. I hold an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Pisa and Sant'Anna School, where I was an Honor Student.
