GhostWA ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Chrome Extension.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It GhostWA is designed with privacy as a priority. It operates almost entirely locally on your device. We do NOT collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal WhatsApp messages, contacts, or chat history to our own servers.
Local Data (Chrome Storage): All CRM data, such as Kanban board states, team assignments, chat filters, and saved multi-account sessions, are stored locally in your browser's secure memory (chrome.storage.local). We do not have access to this data.
License Verification: To verify your subscription and unlock premium features, the extension sends the license key you input directly to the Gumroad API (api.gumroad.com).
AI Features: If you choose to use the "AI Smart Reply" feature, the extension uses your personal DeepSeek API key to communicate directly with DeepSeek's API (api.deepseek.com). We do not intercept or store these requests.
2. Data Sharing and Disclosure We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information or WhatsApp data to any outside parties. All processing happens on your local machine.
3. Permissions Justification GhostWA requires certain permissions (such as activeTab, storage, and scripting) solely to inject the CRM interface into WhatsApp Web and save your layout preferences locally.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
