Well, I decided to replace my Uniqlo UL down parka for a new insulating layer and managed to score a great deal on a MH ghost whisperer hooded jacket during the sales last week. Finally arrived, and I got to be honest, I'm very unimpressed.

Its going back, I'm returning it. My small Uniqlo parka is warmer and more compressible, at only 8.5oz vs 7.6oz (measured weights), a 0.9 oz penalty. (Add in the fact that it cost me $70 vs the ghost whisperer on sale @ $200).

Okay with all of that said, I am still looking for another hooded jacket under 10 ounce range that is warmer than the Uniqlo Parka. Hydrophobic down would be a big plus, and was one of the things that attracted me to the ghost whisperer. Does anyone know from experience or word of mouth of a hooded jacket that performs better than the Uniqlo parka at approx the same weight?

I don't think they are lying about the specs on the amount of fill or the FP. The overall quality of the MH seems to be good. To me the problem seems to lie in down distribution as well as the baffle design. I notice that many of the baffles that have poor loft are seem to be stitched through too tightly, theres no room in the baffle for the down to expand. Baffle height in the back is ~ twice as high as in the chest and belly area. Is this the normal way the MH gw is put together? Perhaps I got one from a bad batch, that would explain why my initial impressions are not up to par with the general consensus. All in all, the average loft height of my $70 jacket is higher than the ghost whisperer, and the ghost whisperer has more down fill and a better fill power. Does not add up.

As far as my warmth testing, I have not taken any kind of scientific approach, and my conclusion is only based on what i can gather from my senses, which I know can be very flawed or biased, but the uniqlo down jacket gives me more immediate warmth. I feel like I'm in a bubble of warm air, and the ghost whisperer doesn't seem to be giving me quite as much warmth, which would make sense since the loft height is less. I'm only in a cotton tshirt in my yard at 47 degree F.

What has been your favorite episode to shoot so far?

My favorite episode so far is episode 9 when a girl who is a ghost kidnaps me and brings me to a place because she is afraid of the shadows. She packs my backpack with a bunch of shiny things and that is how we get to the shinies.

Ghost Whisperer is brought to you by the marvelous Joss! Equipped with her trusted ghost interpreter, Joss travels across the country to hear what ghosts have on their minds and assist in settling their unfinished business. So if you have a ghost you'd like helped to the other side, give us a call!

Aw, this was a pretty cute game. I liked the inclusion of a nonbinary character in Amal but god did the speech about queerplatonic relationships sound canned. I enjoyed the radio minigame, though I don't understand the first ending I got which was something about my sponsorships and social media replacing me caring about the ghosts. It seems the second ending I got after lying about the pineapple pizza worked out better.

-Note: In order to utilize this kit, you must post a question for spirit box (e.g. where are you?) about it in the ghost room, it depends if the ghost have spirit box evidence, you can hear the respond without the spirit box.

Paranormal happenstance, ghosts, and ghouls are just another day for Melinda Gordon on Ghost Whisperer. Helping the deceased find their peace in the afterlife has brought Melinda and the crew into some scary situations. But only one episode of the show ever scared series lead, Jennifer Love Hewitt. See Also The set of Ghost Whisperer was rumored to be haunted!

Daniel Boccato: I am currently working towards an exhibition at Magenta Plains in September 2023 that will feature two bodies of work: ghosts and lions. The lions I started in 2018, and the ghosts are new. I have been developing them for about two years and I am very excited for this opportunity to share them. I am working with curvy, wavy, sinuous shapes, making them with fiberglass and epoxy resin, and then spray-painting them with car paint. They are hanging off the wall sustained by steel pipes, appearing to float in front of the viewer. The tension between the concept of a ghost and something that is ultimately fixed and grounded in material reality is fascinating to me. I try to capture shape-shifting identities and fix them, crystallizing their form with rigid industrial materials. Not in order to exercise control over them, or dominate them conceptually, apprehending and pinning them down; I want to play with form, to animate and be animated by these forms.

After catching up with our familiar friends, we're on to the ghost of the week. This ghost is a female who has been visiting Aiden on his birthday every year to sing "Happy Birthday." After some "Scooby-doo-ing" from the team, we find that the ghost is of a woman who was pregnant and in the hospital at the exact same time Melinda gave birth. Sadly, the woman died while giving birth.

As the episode continues, we find out that the ghost woman believed her child died at birth and that Aiden had received the spirit of her child. What actually happened was that her child survived and was given to some adoptive parents that she had originally made arrangements with. There was some drama between her and the adoptive father pressuring her to hold up her end of the agreement and give them her child. The episode goes into it some more, but that was generally the gist of it.

The main thing we learn from this episode is that not only can Aiden see spirits, but he is an empath; meaning that he can sense, feel and relive emotions and events of those he connects with. He is also able to project events to his mother, Melinda. In this episode, he relives the moment of death from the ghost mother which causes him to stop breathing.

Oh, Ghost Whisperer, what has happened to thee. Watching this episode I am hard pressed to find anything that originally drew me to this series. Not only can three people on the show interact with spirits, but now they're having every child able to interact with ghosts as well. Mix that with the whole "Book of Changes" storyline and the addition of "The Watchers" and I have to make sure I'm still watching the same show. Sure, the whispering to ghost's aspect is still there, but it feels less that and more of a super hero show.

For the past four years, we've follow Melinda through all her ghost adventures. In those four years, we have seen everything and anything happen to her. Now, we're led to believe that the five year jump in her life holds no interesting stories? She had a friend die, plane crash, evil brother, ghosts trying to killer her... and then all of a sudden her life goes quiet for five years? I'm not buying it and have no idea why they believe I would.

When she began talking on local radio shows, her following grew and she began to be called upon by folks who believed there were ghosts in their homes. As a paranormal investigator, she is regularly asked for help by people across the nation.

Available in early 2010, Ghost Whisperer: Shadowlands will debuton the PC and include characters and themes from the hit televisionseries. Players will take on the role of Melinda Gordon, a youngwoman living in Grandview who has inherited the gift of being ableto see and communicate with the dead. These earthbound spirits haveunfinished business in our world preventing them from "crossingover" into the light. While trying to live as normal a life aspossible with her paramedic husband, Jim, and as an owner of theantiques shop, Same As it Never Was, Melinda helps ghosts findresolution and pass over to the other side. ff782bc1db
