Artist Statement

I like to make art that allows for me and others to explore the avenues of my imagination. I explore Paleoart and Concept art by diving into research to merge the realistic with the uncanny and the fact with fiction. When it comes to subjects based in zoology, paleontology, and prehistory, I try to make these subjects live and breathe, and want the viewer to see these animals with the same reverence that I do, and not just as bones in a textbook.
