My name is Ghanshyam Sharma (Pronounced as ~~ Gun-sham). I am an empirical microeconomist. I earned my PhD in Economics from Clemson University, South Carolina, specializing in Public Economics and Public Choice. My broader interest lies in health economics, the economics of regulation, and applied econometrics. 

I have recently worked on alcohol prohibition in Bihar, school education policy in India. I am also interested in examining the impact of taxation in India.
