• GGSTOPWATER Open Ear Headphones — biggest strength: an open, ventilated ear-hook design with Bluetooth 5.4, multi-point pairing and IPX5 sweat/rain resistance, built for movement and spatial awareness.
• GGSTOPWATER Open Ear Headphones — biggest trade-off: open-ear audio deliberately doesn't seal the ear canal, so you trade passive noise isolation for situational awareness.
• SURITCH Case — biggest strength: a shockproof TPU body with a hard PC window, a magnetic lock and a rust-proof carabiner that clips to a bag, belt loop or gym bag.
• SURITCH Case — biggest trade-off: it only fits the Beats Powerbeats Fit (2025) case — it protects your earbuds but does nothing for your sound.
• Who each pick is for: the GGSTOPWATER is for someone who needs earbuds to wear while they train; the SURITCH is for someone who already owns Powerbeats Fit and wants to stop worrying about the case.
The GGSTOPWATER Open Ear Headphones are built around one idea: keep your ears open. Instead of pushing a tip into your ear canal, they hang on an ear hook and fire sound at you from a 16mm dynamic driver rated for a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz range at 32 ohm impedance. The result is an air-conduction, open-ventilated fit that doesn't press on the ear — which matters a lot if you've ever pulled out standard earbuds after an hour and felt sore. If prolonged in-ear wear is the thing that annoys you, this design is aimed squarely at that complaint.
The sports case for them is straightforward. The ear hooks are soft and flexible for a secure hold, the housing is silicone, and an IPX5 nano coating is meant to shrug off daily sweat and rain. For running, gym work, cycling or even driving, the open design keeps you aware of traffic and people around you — that spatial awareness is the entire point. Bluetooth 5.4 handles the connection and supports multi-point linking across iOS, Android and Windows, so you can switch between a phone and a laptop without re-pairing. There's media and call control on board, active noise cancellation is listed as a control, and the set ships with the earbuds, a charging compartment, a Type-C cable, a manual and a matching silicone lanyard you can hang from a backpack. A 6-month warranty backs it.
Who should skip it? Anyone who wants to shut the world out. Open-ear headphones don't seal, so noisy environments — a packed train, a loud gym floor — will bleed through. And if you want deep, isolating bass, this category simply isn't designed for that. It's also an adult-oriented fit, and the emphasis is on comfort and awareness rather than maximum output.
The SURITCH Case is a different animal entirely. It's a protective cover custom-engineered for the Beats Powerbeats Fit (2025) charging case — not for the earbuds themselves, and not for any other model. It hugs the contours of that case specifically, with cutouts that keep the charging port and status lights accessible, so you're not fighting the cover every time you plug in.
What it does well is protect and carry. The body is shockproof TPU with a crystal-clear hard PC window, so drops, bumps, scuffs and scratches meet a drop-resistant shell instead of your case. A strong magnetic closure snaps shut to keep the lid locked — useful when the case is bouncing around in a bag or clipped to you mid-workout. And the rust-proof carabiner is the real everyday win: clip it to a belt loop, backpack or gym bag and your earbuds are always within reach instead of buried at the bottom of a pocket. It's solid-patterned and orange, with hybrid heavy-duty protection and compact dimensions of about 3.04 x 2.4 x 1.32 inches.
Who should skip it? Anyone who doesn't own Powerbeats Fit. This is a one-device accessory — it won't fit other earbud cases, and it won't add sound, battery or features to anything. If you already carry your Powerbeats Fit loose in a pocket and don't mind, you may not need it at all. But if you've ever cracked a case or watched a lid pop open on the move, this is the fix.
• Best for wearing during sports → GGSTOPWATER Open Ear Headphones. Ear hooks, IPX5 sweat/rain protection and open-ear awareness are purpose-built for training.
• Best for protecting what you already own → SURITCH Case. It shields a Powerbeats Fit case from drops, scuffs and scratches.
• Best for staying aware of traffic and surroundings → GGSTOPWATER Open Ear Headphones. The open design lets ambient sound in on purpose.
• Best for hands-free carrying on a run → SURITCH Case. The rust-proof carabiner clips to a belt loop, backpack or gym bag.
• Best for connecting across devices → GGSTOPWATER Open Ear Headphones. Bluetooth 5.4 with multi-point linking works across iOS, Android and Windows.
• Best for pocket-sized portability → SURITCH Case. At roughly 3.04 x 2.4 x 1.32 inches it adds minimal bulk to the case it covers.
• Best if you want to shut out noise → neither, honestly. The GGSTOPWATER is intentionally open, and the SURITCH is a case, not a sound device.
• Best for a gift for a Powerbeats Fit owner → SURITCH Case, if they'd value protection and a clip over another pair of earbuds.
My Verdict
With an open-ear design like the GGSTOPWATER, you hang the ear hook over the top of your ear so the driver rests just outside the ear canal rather than inside it — no tip goes in. That's what keeps the fit pressure-free and lets you hear your surroundings. Traditional in-ear sports buds sit sealed inside the canal instead, which is why they isolate more but feel tighter.
The GGSTOPWATER pairs over Bluetooth 5.4, so the general routine is the same: put the earbuds in pairing mode, open your phone's Bluetooth settings and select them. The GGSTOPWATER also supports multi-point linking, so it can stay connected to more than one device — handy if you switch between a phone and a laptop. For Bose-specific pairing steps, follow Bose's own instructions for your model.
Resetting is model-specific, so check the manufacturer's guidance for your exact Bose earbuds. Worth noting: the SURITCH Case is a protective cover for the Beats Powerbeats Fit case and has no electronics or reset function — it only guards the case, keeps the lid magnetically shut and clips to your bag. The GGSTOPWATER's included manual covers its own operation.
Pairing is essentially the same across Bluetooth earbuds: enable pairing mode on the buds, then choose them from your device's Bluetooth list. The GGSTOPWATER uses Bluetooth 5.4 for a faster, more stable link and works with iOS, Android and Windows. If you're pairing Bose models, use Bose's official pairing steps for that specific product.
