Short Bio

I was born in Lagonegro, Italy, in 1982. I received the BS and MS degrees and the Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope in 2003, 2005 and 2008, respectively. 

Currently, I'm an Associate Professor with DIST at Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope.  I teach in Radar and in Signal Theory classes.  I'm author of more than 150 scientific papers published in International Journals and in Conference Proceedings.  My main research interests deal with Statistical Signal and Image Processing, Deep Learning, Radar Systems, Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Ultrasound Imaging. 

I'm an Associate Editor for IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, for IEEE JMASS and for MDPI Remote Sensing. I'm member of the Technical Liaison Committee for IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging.  I'm a reviewer for international IEEE journals and IEEE conferences.  I have been chairman of several session on SAR Interferometry within IEEE conferences. I'm an IEEE Senior Member. I'm the TIE Forum Chair and Publication Chair of next IEEE IGARSS 2024.

Private Life: I'm happily married to Imma since 2017. In 2018 Francesco arrived and positively changed our life. In 2022 Alessandro arrived and positively re-changed our life. :)
