Nafahat ("we", "our", or "us") is the data controller. Since we do not require accounts, we do not store your name or email. If you contact us via email, we will only use your address to reply to your inquiry. Contact: get.nafahat.app@gmail.com
We process data based on:
Legitimate Interests: To maintain app stability, fix bugs via Firebase, and provide the core memorization tracking features you expect from the app.
A. Local Data (On your device)
Your Quranic progress, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.
B. Automatically Collected Data (Third-Party)
To ensure a high-quality experience, we use Google Firebase (provided by Google LLC). Firebase may collect:
Device Identifiers: Such as AdID or Firebase Installation ID.
Usage Data: Which screens you visit and how long you stay.
Crash Reports: Technical data when the app closes unexpectedly.
We use the following third-party service providers to help us operate:
Firebase (Google): Used for analytics and crash reporting. This data is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, ensuring a high level of protection for European users.
Google Play Services: Required for the app to function on Android devices.
Since we use Firebase (Google), some data may be transferred to the United States. We rely on standard contractual clauses and Google’s compliance with international data transfer frameworks to ensure your data remains protected.
Even though we do not "know" who you are, you have the following rights:
Right to Erasure: You can delete all data we have by uninstalling the app or clearing the app cache.
Right to Object: You can opt-out of analytics via your device's "Privacy" or "Ads" settings (e.g., "Reset Advertising ID").
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to contact a Data Protection Authority in your country.
Nafahat is designed for all ages. We do not collect personal data. Because we use Firebase, we ensure that our settings are configured to comply with child-directed service regulations (COPPA/GDPR-K).
Local Data: Remains on your device until you delete the app.
Firebase Data: Anonymous technical data is typically retained by Google for 14–26 months.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
