1A. CAR BLUETOOTH CONNECTION DETECTION (GET
MY CAR–SPECIFIC)
Get My Car uses Bluetooth connection state signals to support its core purpose of helping users
locate parked vehicles.
The app may detect when your phone connects to or disconnects from a car-related Bluetooth
system, such as a vehicle hands-free or in-car audio system.
The app does not:
● Access Bluetooth audio content
● Record calls or conversations
● Monitor nearby Bluetooth devices
● Track Bluetooth usage for advertising
Bluetooth data is processed only to infer vehicle connection events and enable app functionality.
1B. LOCATION COLLECTION TRIGGERED BY CAR
DISCONNECTION
When your phone disconnects from a recognized car Bluetooth system, Get My Car may
automatically capture your current geographic coordinates to save your vehicle’s parked
location.
Location data:
● Is collected only with user permission
● Is used solely for parking location functionality
● Is not shared with advertisers
1C. LOCAL NOTIFICATIONS RELATED TO VEHICLE
CONNECTIONS
Get My Car may generate local notifications to inform you when:
● Your phone connects to your car
● Your parking location is saved
These notifications are processed entirely on-device and can be disabled at any time.
