All About Gerry

I have been a resident of Amherstburg for 35 years, I am 61 years old and recently retired. Retirement has afforded me the time to be fully committed to my vision of restoring INTEGRITY to OUR town. Here is a little bit about who I am and what my background is:

Owned and Operated Dynamite Audio & Video in Amherstburg for 21 Years
First Elected to Council 1994 and served for 6 years
President of the Amherstburg BIA for 5 years
Former Director of the Amherstburg Chamber of Commerce
Member of the Arena Board for 3 years
Co-Founder of the Amherstburg Tourist Booth on Sandwich St.
Chairman of the Public Works Committee for 3 years
Member of St. John The Baptist Parish
Previously a member of the A.M.A. Sportsman’s Club

My Family

I have been married for 37 years to my wife Linda, with whom I have two wonderful children Tim and Kim. Both of my children graduated from General Amherst High School with Honours. Our Son Tim who has a Master’s Degree in Theology currently works for the Catholic District School Board in the area of professional development and employee assistance, while our daughter Kimberly, who has a Business Degree from University of Windsor, is in her final year of her Bachelors of Education also at the University of Windsor.

Our daughter Kim recently blessed us with our first grandchild Molly!
