PRIVACY POLICY FOR GEOSCORE: HUMAN GEOGRAPHY

GeoScore: Human Geography ("GeoScore", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting student and user privacy. We designed GeoScore from the ground up with a strict "Privacy-First, Local-First" architecture. We believe student educational tools should never monetize user attention, harvest personal data, or build behavioral tracking profiles.

1. ZERO DATA COLLECTION & ZERO TRACKING:

GeoScore does NOT collect, harvest, store, transmit, sell, license, or share any personal information, behavioral analytics, advertising identifiers, or device telemetry.

• No Account Required: You are never asked to register an account, sign in, or provide an email, name, or phone number.

• 100% Offline Capability: GeoScore functions entirely offline. The application does not communicate with external servers, cloud databases, or third-party APIs during regular use.

• No Third-Party Trackers: We do not include Google Analytics, Firebase SDK, Sentry, Facebook SDK, or any third-party behavioral tracking libraries.

• No Advertisements: GeoScore is 100% ad-free. No advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) are integrated.

2. ON-DEVICE LOCAL STORAGE ONLY:

All study progress data—including multiple-choice answer records, Leitner 5-box flashcard mastery levels, and typed free-response scratchpads—is stored exclusively on your physical device in a secure local SQLite database sandboxed to the application container.

• This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly initiate an export using your device's native share sheet.

• GeoScore developers have no access to your practice test scores, flashcard history, or notes.

3. STUDENT & CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA, FERPA, GDPR):

GeoScore is built to be safe for unmonitored home study and K-12 classroom deployment:

• COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act): Because we collect zero Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from any user, we do not collect personal information from children under 13.

• FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act): GeoScore does not store, access, or transmit student educational records to third parties.

• GDPR / CCPA: We do not process, collect, or profile personal data.

4. USER DATA CONTROL & DELETION:

You retain total control over your data:

• Data Export: You can export your progress records at any time as a JSON or plain text file via Settings -> Export Backup.

• Instant Deletion: Tapping "Reset All Study Progress" in Settings immediately purges all question attempts, flashcard levels, and free-response notes from your device's local database.

• Uninstalling: Removing the application from your device automatically deletes the sandboxed local SQLite database completely.
