Welcome!

I am currently an Associate Professor and the Director of the Postgraduate Program Quality Management and Technology (DIP) within the School of Science and Technology at the Hellenic Open University (Patra, Greece). Prior to this position, I was an Assistant Professor within the Department of Civil Engineering at McMaster University (Hamilton, ON, Canada). My research focuses on the development of tools and methods for quality control, infrastructure reliability and risk assessment in the face of multiple hazards and climate change for promoting resilience and sustainability. This research aims to shed light on viable structural aspects that can improve infrastructure resiliency, and to offer frameworks that can be effectively applied to other natural hazard-prone areas.
