BIOGRAPHY: 

Georgette Artwood is a singer-songwriter born in Milan, in 1985. She has always considered music as a dear friend, and with music, she has grown over time sharing the emotions of life. She falls in love at an early age with the sacred Kings of Pop and Rock (Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, Pink Floyd, ...), and during adolescence, she kept following the greatest bands of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.

Time goes by, Georgette continued to dream of being on stage and begins to write lyrics of songs that she never believed would ever see the light... instead, as often happens, an epiphany has proven otherwise. She began studying singing by adding guitar lessons and developing an intimate and deep bond with the instrument, which became the main source of inspiration for her songs. She alternates various projects as a band singer and at the same time, she dedicates herself to her own songs, which she writes and interprets in English. 

With many musical ideas and some songs already in mind he entrusts in January 2020 to "110 bpm Production" for the production of "Filthy Cats and Good Beers". His first single released on 03/14/2020 is followed by "Only a Thought" a bittersweet song with a 90s pop sound (07/28/2020) and now, almost a year after his debut, his latest single is released "Idiosyncrasy" with which the singer-songwriter experiments with new "electropunk" sounds that recalls the golden age of music 80s and "Dude State Of Mind" a song with a decidedly "Old Rock Style" flavor.

In February 2023, the artist released her first album "The Journey" containing 10 songs including the launch single "Faces" and the poignant rock-ballad "Saint Surrender".

Georgette's songs fully reflect her many musical influences, creating a combination of style and sound that, while recalling a style that belongs to the history of music, skillfully blends the modernity of our times. Surely listening to her songs one perceives her strong propensity for the "international" music market right from the very first notes.

The artist continues to experiment with sounds that belong to her musical background, retracing, as if it were a journey into the golden age of rock and international music, sounds that between the 70s and the 90s were the soundtrack of our lives. This time the song lands in Electro Punk, a genre that is well suited for the outburst and anger of all idiosyncrasies for aspects of everyday life.

"Idiosyncrasy" is a piece of rare energy, almost a blur that still maintains the melodic grace. A cry that, stifled in everyday life, releases a scream of exasperation in moments of personal reflection.
