A lawsuit has been filed by the parents of a 19-year-old woman who was killed in a collision in 2021, claiming that she died from an overdose of ketamine given by first responders on the scene. The complaint, filed on Monday, April 10, reveals that plaintiffs Brett Doner and Heather Myers are suing several organizations in Utah, including Life Flight, Intermountain Health Care, Intermountain Medical Center, Murray City, the Murray City Fire Department, and the Utah Highway Patrol. Based on the news, Life Flight and Murray City Fire Department personnel who arrived on the scene administered 500 milligrams of ketamine to the victim, which is more than 16 times the state and county's maximum dose.
