About Me

With a background in mathematics, I am currently taking my first steps in quantitative finance as a quantitative analyst at Barclays

I am also working as a postdoctoral researcher at Charles University in Prague, Czechia, under the mentorship of Dr. Lenka Slavíková. My research area is harmonic analysis.

I am originally from Komotini, Greece. I got my undergraduate degree from Cyprus in 2016. I received my Ph.D. in December of 2020 at the University of Missouri. My doctoral advisor was Dr. Loukas Grafakos, and my thesis was titled "Linear and multilinear spherical maximal functions".

The legal spelling of my name (under ELOT 743) is Georgios Ntosidis, but I prefer the spelling Dosidis, which conveys the correct pronunciation. If I met you in person, I've probably already asked you to call me George.
